Walking in sunshine spray tan extractors have the “Exclusive Dual Density Washable” Filters that are supplied in a quality frame.
Our washable filters are the only Dual Density filters available for spray tanning- Exclusive to our spray tan extractors… if other tan extractors state washable, you will find they are probably single density filters, which makes a huge difference in the amount of tanning solution they will absorb. Our filters are designed for longevity and the frame keeps the filter shape, it also stops the motor dragging on the filter, which can cause filter warping.
- Take the quality silver frame (with the fitted filter), out of the front of extractor, by simply unscrewing the side knobs
- Rinse the filter in its frame under the shower or running water, until the water runs clear
- leave to drain and dry over night
- Rinse everyday it is used
- Only replace back in the spray tan extractor when fully dry
- Our Dual Density Filters last around 800 tans if care instructions are followed
- No constant ongoing costs replacing filters
Remember that spray tan solution starts to thicken after 2 hours exposed to air and any sponge type filter will only absorb a certain amount of liquid, we recommend that the filter should be swapped for a clean dry filter after 5 tans… but regardless of applying one tan or five continuous tans, wash the filter in its frame (at the end of the session) and leave to drain and dry over night. Keep a spare filter in frame for busy periods (some salons have several spare filters in frames).
Example of other filters
Replacing filters can be extremely expensive, especially when you consider that some extractor filters only absorb twenty tans or less… this is a huge on-going cost to replace them continuously.
Some filters are paper-thin causing the motor to burn out with the volume of moisture being drawn in from the excess of tanning solution. This can affect the extractor motor and may cause the motor to blow.
A dirty sloppy thin filter can also cause the tanning extractor to blown out dirty brown air out of the back vents… not good if your in a clients home. Disposing this type of filter can be a messy job and this could also ruin the inside of your extractor.
