The sun is out and high sun factor creams need to be applied. A very brave skin cancer sufferer shares her story.

Corinne Dowling, lead nurse at skin limited, a specialist clinic in dermatology in London’s Harley Street, said: “Skin cancer is particularly prevalent among young people and is associated with unprotected sun exposure and sunbed use, with more than 10,000 cases in the UK each year.

“It is essential to wear a minimum of SPF 30 to protect against UVB (the sun exposure that burns the skin).”

Dowling urged people to use fake tan as the “safest way to get colour without the risk”.  Always walking in sunshine
